Ahead of the official announcement for the Chinese market tomorrow, OnePlus took to Weibo (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter) today to reveal more details about the OnePlus 11, staying true to its roots as a company that pioneered drips. – an informational way of revealing the product in the mobile world.
The focus (excuse the easy pun) is on the cameras this time, as the company has officially revealed which sensors the phone uses, boasting that they’re all flagship-level.
The main 50MP snapper on the back uses a Sony IMX890 and the 48MP ultrawide gets a Sony IMX581 with autofocus, so it can also take macro shots. There’s also a 2x telephoto lens using the Sony IMX709 sensor, which has an RGBW arrangement to increase the amount of light it captures. According to OnePlus, this should allow for “professional” looking portrait shots.
The screen of the OnePlus 11 will be LTPO 3.0, which will allow instant and smooth frame rate switching up to 120 Hz. There is also support for Dolby Vision. And of course, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that the 11 will have up to 16GB of RAM, and will be joined on stage tomorrow by the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which will have a focus mode with different kinds of white noise to help you focus better. as well as peak latency of 54ms for immersive gaming.
