Li Auto has confirmed the launch date of its next SUV, the Li L7, at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The Li L7 will be unveiled on February 8, 2023. Test drive vehicles will be available at Li Auto retail outlets the very next day, according to the announcement.

The new Li L7 is designed for families with five passengers. The company is stepping up its performance and says it will offer features that stand out.

The Li L7 is Li Auto’s first five-seater and measures 5,050 millimeters in length, 1,995 millimeters in width, 1,750 millimeters in height and has a wheelbase of 3,005 millimeters, according to the company.+

The Li L7 will be equipped with the Li Auto Extended Range 2.0 electric system, which promises a significant improvement in performance. It will allow the upcoming SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.3 seconds.

Initially, Li Auto planned to sell five- or six-seat variants of the Li L8. However, the company says that the five-digit variant is not just a remake, but rather a deeply customized design that deserves its own name, and thus the Li L7 was born.

On September 30, Li Auto started accepting pre-orders for the Li L8 and also unveiled the Li L7 during the Li L8 official launch.

The Li L7 is available in two versions: Pro and Max with starting prices of RMB 339,800 and RMB 379,800 (US$47,640 and US$54,780).
