The Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been leaking a lot lately, which naturally makes us think that an official reveal is just around the corner. And today it seems that exactly that has been confirmed.

According to not one but two generally reliable tipsters/leaksters, the Galaxy S23 family will be unveiled on February 1st, eight days earlier than last year’s S22 models, with both Ice Universe and @OnLeaks agreeing on the date. While this obviously doesn’t serve as an official confirmation, if it’s accurate, we expect Samsung to issue official invites to the event in the next few days or weeks, and we’ll let you know when that happens.

The Galaxy S23 was recently spotted on Geekbench another time. All S23 devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is a significant change for people living in markets where only Exynos models were previously sold. In fact, Europe might even get an exclusive slightly overclocked version of the chipset if past rumors and leaks are true.
